Human Development Index
The Sahel countries are developing countries. Niger, Burkina Faso, and Chad rank at the bottom of the UNDP Human Development Index, (32) with low scores in health, education, and living standards. These countries have good potential for economic growth, and lack of security is a major reason why it is not being tapped. At the same time, climate change (33) is making it increasingly difficult to practice traditional agriculture and livestock farming. Longer periods of drought and lower harvests have led to recurring food shortages and humanitarian disasters, and increased the intensity of conflicts. สล็อต เว็บตรง
